Dr. Amjad Alharbi is a pediatrics resident currently completing her residency training at King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She graduated from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences with first-degree honors. She is interested in adolescent medicine, with special interest in adolescent gynecology, disorders of sex development, and gender identity development. As there is a substantial unmet need for adolescent medicine in the area, she aims to pursue this specialty in the near future, serve these patients, and hopefully contribute to setting the pillars for adolescent care locally. She has held numerous leadership roles, including president of the Resident Advocacy Club, founder of the Future Career Program, and leader of multiple quality projects. She has actively participated in educational initiatives as a learner and an advocate for adolescent health awareness.
